Conference on Creation in inclusion in interdisciplinary projects: proposals for the classroom

On 24 March, the University of Jaén hosted the Conference on Creation in Inclusion in interdisciplinary projects: proposals for the classroom, organised by Paloma Bravo Fuentes, a member of the TCIEM project. For a whole evening, several members of TCIEM had the opportunity to share, with students from the Bachelor’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, some of the interdisciplinary projects that have been implemented in the schools participating in the TCIEM project at different educational stages and on which they have carried out evaluative research on transversal competences.

The projects that were shared were the following:

  • Stories of forgotten voices. Women composers in history, presented by Dolores Araque (Headmistress CEIP María Zambrano) and whose evaluative research has been developed by Mari Paz López-Peláez Casellas (University of Jaén). [Proposal for Primary Education].
  • Exploring corporal expression and artistic creation in the classroom, presented by Miriam Albusac (University of Granada). [Proposal for Primary Education].
  • Sound Art in artistic installations. A proposal for creation, presented by Mercedes Castillo (University of Granada). [Proposal for Early Childhood Education].
  • Inclusong: A musical contest for inclusion and education in equality, presented by Antonio Fernández Jiménez (University of Granada). [Proposal for Compulsory Secondary Education].
