On 10 March 2026, the travelling exhibition TCIEM (Transdisciplinarity, Creativity and Inclusion in School Music Projects: an evaluative study) was opened at the Faculty of Education of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain). The exhibition will run from 10 to 25 March.
At the opening, attended by teachers and students from the Faculty, there was a discussion on the role of music in education. The importance of carrying out this type of research project was also highlighted; such projects connect universities and schools, design and implement interdisciplinary musical initiatives, and train both generalist teachers and music specialists. The audience also highlighted the impact the project has had on students’ cross-curricular skills.
The Faculty is proud to provide spaces to showcase this type of project, and the travelling exhibition is highly valued for disseminating the results of a research project. From the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the exhibition will travel to the University of Zaragoza to continue its journey.
